    1. Select the Tools on the menu bar. Select Accounts
    2. Click the Email tab. Click the Add button.
    3. Under Your Name:
      1. In the Display Name field, enter your name as you wish it to be displayed.
      2. Click the Next button.
    4. Under Internet E-mail Address:
      1. In the E-mail address field, enter your MetroCast email address (for example; user@metrocast.net or user@[state].metrocast.net if applicable).
      2. Click the Next button.
    5. Under E-mail Server Names:
      1. "Incoming E-mail Server" type should be POP3
      2. Set "Incoming Mail Server" to pop.metrocast.net or pop.[state].metrocast.net if applicable
      3. Set "Outgoing Mail Server" to smtp.metrocast.net or smtp.[state].metrocast.net if applicable
      4. Click the "Next" button.
    6. Under Internet Mail Logon:
      1. Set "Account name" to your MetroCast email address (for example; user@metrocast.net or user@[state].metrocast.net if applicable)
      2. Set Password to your MetroCast email password.
      3. Do NOT select "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"
      4. Click the "Next" button.
    7. Click on "Finish", at this point you will be returned to your inbox
    8. Select the "Tools" on the menu bar. Select "Accounts"
    9. Click on your account name under "Accounts", click on "Properties"
    10. Click on the "Adavnced" tab
    11. Change "Outgoing mail(SMTP)" to 465
    12. Check the box next to "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)"
    13. Click on the "Servers" tab and check the box next to "My server requires authentication"
    14. Click on the "Settings" button, select "Use same settings as my incoming server"
    15. Click on "OK" then "Apply" then "OK" again
    16. Click "Close" out of the "Internet Accounts" screen
    17. At this point, you are finished setting up your email
